Renaissance Revitalization Community Development Corporation
Renaissance Revitalization Community Development Corporation (RRCDC), in partnership with St. Paul AME Church, serves as a long-standing anchor institution in North St. Louis. For years, our facility has provided essential human services, emergency response, and community-centered programming to residents impacted by economic hardship, infrastructure disinvestment, and public safety challenges.
Organization's Mission / Vision Statement
The Renaissance Revitalization Community Development Corporation is a subsidiary of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. Our Mission is to serve the community in various capacities to meet the needs of all people. We are networking to serve the community spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, environmentally, and economically.
Senior Adult Living Dome
“The RR-CDC is a nonprofit service provider networking to meet the needs of all people.”
We proposed to erect a Sixty-Six state-of-the-art building for senior citizens and disabled citizens who need safe haven residential quarters in the West End Neighborhood. The six-story building will house a full-time restaurant for the residents that will employ a chef, food service manager, and gourmet cooks. In addition, we will employ a maintenance team and maidservants for the residents.
The massive senior living center will house all amenities that enable the residents never to leave the facility. The first floor will include but not be limited to, A grocery store, laundry, a small medical clinic, an auditorium, a movie theater, a beauty and barber shop, and a recreation area inside and outside.
Community Impact
RRCDC and St. Paul AME Church have a proven record of service and community trust. Programs supported by this facility include afterschool enrichment, food bank and food distribution services, and emergency response operations, including serving as a hub during tornado recovery efforts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility operated for more than two years as a computer access site, food distribution center, and stabilization hub for residents in need.
Governance & Accountability
RRCDC operates independently with its own governance structure. Its Board of Directors is composed of community stakeholders, including individuals with experience in education, social services, community development, and neighborhood advocacy. This structure ensures accountability, transparency, and responsiveness to the needs of the community served.
Through this partnership, RRCDC has provided and continues to provide essential services. St. Paul AME Church fully endorses RRCDC’s mission, leadership, and capacity to steward public and private resources responsibly.
